This is all opinion. Let me know if you'd change anything in the comments below. Thanks for the read.
(10) Shane McMahon - Though Shane O'Mac didn't go at it frequently in the ring, when he did, he put his body on the line. Shane put the business before himself, and did career-threatening stunts to benefit the WWF.
(9) Chris Jericho - Jericho was one of the wrestlers back in the time that proved big muscles and being powerful didn't always lead to success. After leaving WCW, he jumped ship to WWF and was an asset in the Monday night wars.
(
The Undertaker - I wasn't a huge fan of the "American Badass" Taker, as shown by this higher rating, but nobody can deny the success of the phenom in whatever era you may view it from.
(7) Triple H - Triple H had filled in the role of a top guy when Austin was injured, and he really proved to the company that he can be a major player. Plus, I find it impressive he was able to find success after spending so much time as the aristocratic Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
(6) Jeff Hardy - Hardy follows suit with the same idea of Shane O'Mac, but doing it on a nightly basis. The sky was the limit for the crazy spots Hardy was willing to commit to his own body.
(5) Shawn Michaels - Shawn was a shining star before the Attitude Era and during it. His most memorable feud in the Attitude Era would have to be his memorable matches with HHH, which really showed he still got what he had had all along.
(4) Mick Foley - Foley revolutionized the 'extreme' part of the Attitude Era. Fire, barbed wire, thumb tacks, and more were all used by and against Foley, and his three personalities helped to keep him fresh for years upon years.
(3) Kurt Angle - Angle was an extremely talented wrestler with a promising background, as he was truly an Olympic gold medalists as a wrestler. From being the cocky and hilarious heel to being a hero, Angle proved time and time again he was one of the most talented people in the era.
(2) The Rock - The Rock was a key factor in the outcome of the Monday night wars. His feuds with Foley, Austin, Triple H, Michaels, Lesnar, and others helped to distinguish the talent levels between the two feuding companies.
(1) "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - Stone Cold was the pioneer of the Attitude Era, and is arguably one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling. His loud mouth and hard hitting in-ring work defined the Attitude and helped lead the way for the future.
